One of the authors is a practicing physician who has spent major part of his life in state run health service serving rural and semi urban population.The other as part of his job traveled extensively in rural and under developed districts of the country.
One evening,the two gentlemen sat together and were engaged in exchanging their experiences and viewpoints on wide ranging topics;at on stage of the discussion the idea of collating/converging the thoughts came up.As they finished the first draft it was past midnight close to morning.
